Experience!
In my junior year at the University of Florida, I enrolled in the Active Learning Program (ALP). The ALP helps students develop professional experience while learning about sustainability, culminating in a final poster presentation.
Through the ALP, I had the opportunity to work with the Center for Precollegiate Education and Training, an organization dedicated to promoting education equity through programs for talented high school students.
While interning at CPET, I led an overhaul of the website to improve accessibility and navigation, while also making it easier to maintain in the future. The project required me to become very familiar with TerminalFour and the University of Florida 2015 template, including completing TerminalFour's poweruser training.
